Police search for Mpls. bank robbery suspect

MINNEAPOLIS -- Police are looking for the suspect in a bank robbery Friday morning in Minneapolis.
Authorities say the man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located on the 2300 block of Central Avenue Northeast in Minneapolis around 10:30 a.m.
According to police, the man handed the teller a note demanding money and displayed a gun.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled and was seen running west on 24th Avenue Northeast.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'1" - 6'2" tall with a medium build, black hair, and a black mustache and goatee. Authorities say he was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt, jeans, blue and white shoes and a royal blue Kangal hat.
Anyone with information about the bank robbery is asked to contact the Minneapolis FBI at 763-569-8000 or the Minneapolis Police Department.
