Police are investigating a stabbing in central Auckland involving an American hip hop group.
Emergency services were called to a clash between two groups of people on Federal Street shortly after 4pm yesterday.
The police say a man received injuries from a glass bottle and is now recovering from surgery.
The hip hop group, Rae Sremmurd, is understood to have been involved in the fight.
Slim Jxmmi, a member of the group, has posted a video on social media showing a bandaged hand.
The police say two men are assisting with inquiries.
