A source told Page Six the couple — whose secret affair was unveiled last week — are in love, saying: “Jeff doesn’t blame Lauren.”
Former Extra correspondent Sanchez is believed to have shown the damning texts to close friends, before they were legally obtained by the National Enquirer.
Bezos and Sanchez are believed to have been seeing each other for at least the past nine months, according to the Enquirer.
They jetted across the States and shared a string of dates before being alerted that their affair was about to be made public
One romantic message from the online retail giant CEO, chair and founder in April 2018 read: “I love you, alive girl. I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.”
The racy messages allegedly show erotic photos months before the new couple says they started dating in “the fall,” after separating from their respective spouses, according to the National Enquirer.
The tabloid, which didn’t publish any of the racy images, says one shirtless photo sent June 1, 2018, had a message reading: “You know what I want? I want to get a little drunk with you tonight. Not falling down. Just a little drunk. I want to talk to you and plan with you. Listen and laugh … I basically WANT TO BE WITH YOU!!! Then I want to fall asleep with you and wake up tomorrow and read the paper with you and have coffee with you.”
Bezos, who is worth an estimated $140 billion, is now divorcing his wife of 25 years, writer MacKenzie Bezos, after the couple tweeted the news of their split on Wednesday.
He flew to Seattle on his private jet last week and has spent the past few days holed up with his wife and their four children at their lavish Washington State home.
A source told us: “Jeff had told MacKenzie about Lauren and that the story was going to be coming out, so she was prepared.
“They’re focusing on the kids and their welfare right now. Jeff spent all week at home with the family. They’re still living together for the moment.”
Bezos went back to work on Friday and met with the team behind Twitch, Amazon’s live streaming video platform.
Meanwhile, Sanchez, who is divorcing her husband, Hollywood uber agent Patrick Whitesell, has not been spotted for a week — while Whitesell, chairman of Endeavor, was seen leaving their Beverly Hills mansion.
They are also believed to be living together with their two young children and Sanchez’s teenage son.
None of this, however, means Bezos and Sanchez are not planning a future together.
In one exchange, he reportedly told Sanchez that her “energy and ideas and competence and spirit turn me on.”
“You make me better. You’re meant for me. I know it more clearly than I’ve ever known anything,” Bezos gushed, according to the Enquirer – who also says he shared details of a weird dream his wife had.
Another message reads like a veritable love poem.
“I love everything about you. I love that your last pic takes me completely out of my head. I am crazy about you. All of you. I need to smell and touch you. I want to hold you. I know you’re right for me. I know we fit,” he wrote, according to the paper.
“I like it when you’re strong, and I like it when you’re vulnerable. Everything. The only thing I don’t like is not being with you. All of this is just straight from my heart. I love everything about you.”
