Irony in Hollywood grows as #MeToo movement continues

As Hollywood continues to reel from #MeToo scandals, one film pro recently quipped to Page Six, “There’s irony everywhere” in showbiz.

The studio exec mused about “the irony of a film I worked on years ago — ‘Consenting Adults,’ starring Kevin Spacey!”

Spacey just pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of indecent assault and battery stemming from an alleged 2016 incident involving a then-18-year-old Nantucket busboy.

The 1992 movie by “All the President’s Men” director Alan J. Pakula starred Spacey with Kevin Kline and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.

It was distributed by Disney’s now-defunct Buena Vista label.
