Anthony Scaramucci joins ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ cast

Oh brother.

Anthony Scaramucci, the short-lived White House communications director, is among the cast on the next season of “Celebrity Big Brother,” CBS announced on Sunday.

Scaramucci – known as “The Mooch” – will join Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, former NFL star Ricky Williams, one-time O.J. Simpson houseguest Kato Kaelin and Dina Lohan when the show’s second season premieres on Jan. 21.

The former hedge fund executive lasted 11 days at the White House before being fired by President Trump in July 2017 after he gave a profanity-laced interview in which he trashed members of the administration.

Last year, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on the show’s first season.

Manigault-Newman, who become well know after being a contestant on Trump’s “The Apprentice,” left the White House in December 2017 and immediately began to bedevil the administration.

She wrote a tell-all about her time at the White House called “Unhinged” and released a tape of then-Chief of Staff John Kelly firing her.

On the CBS show, she was asked by another houseguest if everything would be all right with Trump in the White House.

“No, it’s going to not be OK. It’s not. It’s so bad,” she said.

The last of the 12 cast members remaining at the end of the season will win $250,000.
