The food guru on Netflix’s “Queer Eye” has split from his boyfriend Joey Krietemeyer, according to Us Weekly.
According to a source, Porowski and Krietemeyer actually broke up two months ago.
“It was very amicable. They’re still friends. It was a clean split,” the source said.
The 34-year-old television personality has spoken about his now ex-boyfriend very openly since being launched into fame when the show’s first season premiered in February.
He told GQ at the time that he came out to his father while he and Krietemeyer were living together.
“I decided to send him an email,” he recalled. “Because I was living with Joey, my boyfriend now, I wrote my father a very short email: ‘I think it’s time I tell you: I love. I am loved. His name is Joey, and we live together.’ That was it.”
Porowski opened up a fast-casual restaurant in Manhattan’s West Village in September.
