Playboy Club opening draws an eclectic crowd of New Yorkers

Amid ongoing #MeToo scandals, the bunnies have arrived.

The Playboy Club was relaunched Wednesday in Midtown by Hugh Hefner’s son Cooper, complete with bunny cocktail waitresses, four members only lounges and an exclusive subterranean spot dubbed the Rabbit Hole.

Between the sea of bleached-blond hair and aspiring male models, guests incongruously included Martha Stewart, Ice-T, Coco and HQ host Scott Rogowsky.

Robin Thicke performed “Blurred Lines,” whose lyrics include “I hate these blurred lines I know you want it.” He also played “Lost Without U,” and “Magic.”

“People seemed to really be enjoying the party and open bar, but there were murmurs about how crazy it is to have this open in the midst of the #MeToo movement,” a spy told Page Six. “One person was noting how it could be considered a time capsule for men to the ’60s and a girl responded, ‘Gross, why?'”

Also at the bash was Dierks Bentley, Kelly Bensimon, Sir Ivan Wilzig, D’Andra Simmons, Dennis Basso, Dylan Lauren, Mario Carbone and past and present Playmates.

Earlier this year, the New York Post reported Hefner was trying to rebrand Playboy as “millennial luxury.” Initiation fees for the club run up to $250,000, which includes access to Playboy’s jet and 15 nights at the club.

Waiters walked around serving sushi, mini sliders and possibly the biggest crowd-pleaser, silver platters of candy, including lollipops, Razzles and Pixy Stix.
