Mom Sobbing Over Little Boy’s Casket, Then Sees What Else Is In The Room

The mother of a seven-year-old boy had the unfathomable task of telling her little one goodbye. She couldn’t let his fragile hand go, as she sobbed uncontrollable tears over his casket, during this devastating final farewell. But in that moment of grief, she felt something near her and was left stunned by what she saw in the room.

With lights dim, setting a somber mood for the heartbreaking wake of a child who never got to reach his eighth birthday, there was not a dry eye in the funeral home in the Philippines that night. Friends and family filled the room, grappling with the injustice of how a child could die before his parents. As they commiserated with the mourning mother, Joy Ganda Vibar-Alamares, who couldn’t pry herself away from little Trebby’s small coffin, something unexplained occurred.

With white balloons near where Trebby’s body rested, one of them spontaneously departed from the secured bouquet, going in a completely different direction to make it to Joy’s side. Video of the wake and miraculous event, originally uploaded on November 2, according to the Daily Mail, showed the balloon make an unexpected turn, along with what happened right after.

The balloon appears to not just float next to the devastated mom, but wrap around her in what looked like an embrace. Joy froze in shock of what was happening, before her crying intensified as the balloon stayed by her side, acting as a symbol, or perhaps spirit, of her little boy she just lost. But when she reaches out to grab the string, the room grew silent.

Joy gently grabbed the balloon that she believed was a gift from God and her son comforting her, to let her know that he’s still there with her. She holds it by her head, as though it was Trebby’s innocent face in her hands, before walking it back to her seat. There, she sat down with it never drifting off and staying by her side the entire time.

As the mom sat with Trebby’s balloon, a second one separated from the bunch and drifted to where the boy’s grieving siblings sat, as shown in a separate video Joy uploaded online on February 11. “With God, everything is possible. What you are about to see can’t be explained and only faith can,” the bereaved mother wrote with the recent video she shared. “The little warrior also went up to his siblings,” she explained of the unusual event of not just one balloon knowing right where to go, but two.

God shows himself in some of the least expected ways and places, or in this case, items. With the simplicity of two white balloons, He brought incredible comfort to this family, delivering grace in the midst of unbearable heartache. It served as a reminder, not just to this family, but to all of us, that He is always there and our loved ones are always near.
