You’ve seen graphic footage of doctors lancing boils and
social media users busting pimples and removing blackheads. Of
course, everyone has a biased perspective when it comes to having the
grossest video. However, the most disgusting pus video probably doesn’t
even belong to a human. It’s definitely safe to say it belongs to an
animal.
A new YouTube
video featuring a bull calf proves that humans definitely do not have
the largest abscesses you’ll ever see, and it’s definitely not something
that should be viewed by someone with a weak stomach or the faint at
heart.
An abscess is a tender mass generally surrounded by a colored area from pink to deep red. Abscesses are often easy to feel by touching. The middle of an abscess is full of pus and debris. Painful and warm to touch, abscesses can show up any place on your body. – Web MD
The clip, uploaded by YouTube user Andrea Barfield, shows a
veterinarian draining an abscess on a bull calf’s back. However, this
abscess is nowhere near the size of the ones you’re probably use to
seeing.
The clip begins with a veterinarian attempting to puncture
the bull calf’s massive abscess. It doesn’t take long for the vet to do
so, and once he does, the disgusting white, green, and yellow pus
explodes everywhere as the poor animal moves uncontrollably. As the
video continues, the animal gradually calms down once the abscess begins
to deflate. By the end of the video, the red and swollen abscess is
nearly empty.
If you haven’t vomited yet, you definitely don’t have a weak
stomach, but if you’re like me, watching this one time is more than
enough!
