SEE IT: Woman Makes DISTURBING Find Tucked Away In Hotel Shower Vent

After traveling out of town for the weekend, Harmony Hechey was in need of a hotel room and decided to stay at a local Travelodge. However, things quickly took a turn after she hopped in the shower, looked up, and made quite the disturbing find tucked away in a vent overhead.

According to the 23-year-old woman, she traveled to Oxford, England from her home in Edinburgh with a few colleagues, as she was working at an event in the area over the weekend. Needing a place to rest their heads for the night, the group booked rooms at the Oxford Wheatley Travelodge.

The hotel’s website boasts that it “is just 2 miles from the beautiful village of Wheatley, offering plenty of opportunity to explore the surrounding landscapes.” Unfortunately for Ms. Hechey, she was about to find out that someone was taking that literally.

After hopping in the shower, you can imagine her surprise to look up and notice that a small electronic device was hidden behind the shower vent. “I was absolutely disgusted,” she said. “I got a fork and stuck it in the vent. You could see so clearly it was a camera.”

After conferring with a few of her colleagues, they all agreed that it was in fact a webcam pointed at the location she was standing naked in the shower. “I broke down at one point. I just felt so violated,” Hechey added.

As it turns out, that’s not exactly the whole story. She went on to say, “One of the girls had a shower and then I went in.” Once realizing what she saw, she snapped a few photos of the device, and immediately went down to the front desk to complain.

Mirror reports, “It is believed the webcam was installed via a maintenance unit which backs onto the room.” Police were quickly notified as well, but after a brief investigation, stated that a USB device connected to the camera wasn’t switched on at the time. They are, however, still looking for the party responsible.

Understandably uncomfortable with her room, hotel management moved Ms. Hechey and eventually offered her a full refund as well.

It seems that we live amid a flurry of perverts these days, with the information age only making things easier for peeping toms to sneak an uninvited look. Words couldn’t describe the amount of outrage I would feel over such an invasion of privacy, but hopefully the person responsible is caught so that no others have to go through what Hechey did.
