As tensions heighten on several different fronts in America,
it seems that many have begun to prepare for a worst case scenario.
Regarding the issue of Muslim extremism in particular, one company has
crafted a rifle that bears an etching, ensuring that it can’t be used by
an Islamist if the owner ever found themselves in battle — or ever for
that matter.
Created by gun manufacturer Spike’s Tactical in Apopka,
Florida, the AR-15 in question bears a Bible verse ensuring that it can
never be used by a Muslim, no matter the case. Listed as The Crusader Rifle, the company considers the firearm a “lightweight mid-length rifle,” with the words of Psalm 144:1 etched onto the outside of the magazine well, reading:
“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”
On the opposite side, a cross and shield are depicted, representing what seems to be the mark of the Crusades. According to Breitbart,
“Along the AR-15’s safety lever are the Latin words ‘Pax Pacis’
(Peace), ‘Bellum’ (War), and ‘Deus Vult’ (God Wills It). ‘Peace’ is the
gun’s safe position while ‘War’ is the gun’s fire position.”
Explaining why the company decided to create the specific rifle, Spike’s Tactical spokesman Ben “Mookie” Thomas explained:
“Right now and as it has been for quite some time, one of the biggest threats in the world is and remains Islamic terrorism. We wanted to make sure we built a weapon that would never be able to be used by Muslim terrorists to kill innocent people or advance their radical agenda.”
Although I’m not sure if it will ever come to the American
people having to pick up arms in order to defend ourselves against the
irrefutably violent religion of Islam, President Barack Obama has made
it perfectly clear that he’s not going to do anything about it in the
meantime. Despite radical groups like ISIS literally cutting the heads
of Americans, he’s clearly demonstrated his lack of a spine in all
things regarding Islam.
That being said, should the need arise, it’d be nice to know
that if I fell in battle, my firearm could not be picked up by a Muslim
and used against my brothers in war. For that reason alone, I may just
have to go pick myself up one … or two, if my wife will let me.
