MINNEAPOLIS - Jim Small, a die-hard Vikings fan, has lost his battle with cancer.
Last month, KARE 11's Lou Raguse brought us the the story of best friends and lifelong Vikings fans Jim Small and Joe Marushin from St. Paul Park.
They were both diagnosed with cancer and they decided to try to make it to every Vikings game together that they could.
Marushin had blood cancer and Small was fighting esophageal cancer.
On Thursday, Small's family told us that he passed away.
There is a Jim Small/Joe Marushin benefit fund set up at Anchor Bank.
