AT&T and ZTE worked together to develop the technology, which provides Wi-Fi connectivity for up to five devices inside a car when plugged into an on-board diagnostics port.

Customers can purchase the Mobley for $100 without an annual contract, or for $0 with a two-year service agreement. Those two-year agreements include the Mobile Share Value plan, which will increase by $10 a month for the Mobley or the DataConnect plan, with a monthly charge starting at $20 for 1GB of data.
