Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari flashed a large diamond ring on her finger - see proposal from Jim Iyke -as she attended the funeral service for Paulina Olympio, the mother of fellow actor, Majid Michel. Majid’s mother passed away on the 10th of October 10 at the Ghana Canada Hospital at East Legon, Accra, she was 63.
While at her funeral on Friday, Nadia Buari wrote this touching tribute:
Today was really hard, but I want u to know that mummy is always with u. She’s the whisper of the leaves as u walk down the street, the smell of certain foods u remember, flowers u pick and the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on ur brow when ur not feeling well, the sound in the rain that lulls u to sleep, the colours of the rainbow, and a Christmas morning. Mummy lives inside ur laughter, she’s the place u came from, ur first home and the map u’ll follow with every step u take. Nothing on earth can separate u two..Not time, not space and not even death.#R.I.PAuntyPaulina#ForeverInOurHearts
Nadia Buari also shared appreciation for her own mother who joined her at the funeral, writing.
Me & my bestie at Aunty Paulina's funeral today. Life is a lot more fragile than we think...So u should treat others in a way that leaves no regrets. Fairly, and if possible, sincerely. It's too easy not to make the effort, then weep and wring your hands after the person dies.
