As is usually the case, someone was brought out to sing the national anthems. Unfortunately, just as the singer was preparing to launch into her version of The Star Spangled Banner, the microphone cut off.
That’s when this happened:
Yup, you heard that correctly – the entire pro-Toronto Maple Leafs crowd decided to help the singer out with the song. It was a truly awesome moment.
And then those same great fans watched their team lose 9-2.
