Mothers Sue After Failed Abortions Produce Healthy Babies
To most women finding out they are pregnant is a joyous event, one that gives them pause for thanksgiving and time to reflect over the miracle of life; however, that is unfortunately not the case with all women.
Across the big pond in jolly ole’ England, there are dozens of reports coming forward of women who are suing the NHS, which is a tax-payer funded health program, after finding that their botched abortions produced healthy and living babies.
The mothers have sued and have won thousands, if not up to ten thousands, of dollars for the discomfort of pregnancy and the pain they went through during childbirth when their botched abortions did not kill their unborn children.
This is where it gets even more heinous in my own personal opinion, these babies that were to be aborted were being so, for the mothers believed that they had disabilities, and when they were birthed, they were healthy babies! Oh the horror, the outrage! These mothers are suing after they had healthy children, not after having children born with disabilities!
There have been others who echo my same sentiment, thankfully. One of the detractors is a  former Bishop of Rochester named Michael Nazir-Al, and he said this about these despicable lawsuits:
“A healthy child is an occasion for thanksgiving rather than for taking the NHS to the cleaners and using up precious funds which could otherwise be more usefully employed.”
In the past decade there have been 164 cases of  ‘wrongful births’ and the NHS has paid out more than  £94 million, which is approximately 117 million dollars in American currency. In those cases, many were parents of disabled children whose doctor did not warn them of the risks.
However, out of 104 cases that have been settled, 40 cases are those who have had healthy babies, not babies with disabilities that were not warned or didn’t have proper testing prior to birth, but healthy babies.
The breakdown of these “inconvenient”  births as reported by Lifenews is as follows:
“six after ‘failed terminations’, 24 after ‘failed sterilisation’, eight after a ‘failed contraceptive implant/procedure’, one following a ‘failure to diagnose pregnancy’ and one as a result of ‘inaccurate fertility advice.’”
It is truly hard for me to understand how anyone could characterize having a healthy baby as a cross to bear. I also find it deplorable to hear that any court in this world would give a payout to these women after a failed abortion that the taxpayers funded already! Now the taxpayers get to foot the bill again for a bunch of women’s ‘pain and suffering!?’
What a mad world we live in, indeed!
