The Elder Scrolls Online Reveals Dark Brotherhood Launch Date, Details

The team at Bethesda in charge of The Elder Scrolls Online is ready to confirm that it is planning to launch the new Dark Brotherhood-focused content for the MMO on May 31 of this year on the PC, and two weeks later on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
The official announcement explains the draw of the new organization by adding, "From the port city of Anvil to the Great Cathedral of Kvatch, the business of the Brotherhood consists of murder and mayhem - and business is good! Join the Brotherhood, enter the Sanctuary, and accept your first contract from the mysterious Speaker. Kill well, assassin!"
Gamers who get the coming content will be able to explore the new area of the Gold Coast and will pick up a new passive skill line while exploring interesting story-driven challenges that move them across a range of locations from Tamriel.
The Dark Brotherhood game pack is offered for free to those who have the Plus membership for The Elder Scrolls Online and can be picked up in the official store for 2,000 crowns. Gamers who are willing to pay double are also getting access to the Highland Wolf Mount, the Sylvan Nixad pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls.
Bethesda is also preparing a base game patch
In both Anvil and Kvatch, gamers will get access to daily bounties, and there are also arenas to dominate and a powerful minotaur to take down, with more quests offered to gamers who want to break into new areas and take out specific targets and secure equipment for their characters.
When the Dark Brotherhood arrives for The Elder Scrolls Online, gamers will also get a base game patch that will remove Veteran Ranks while adding poison making and bringing a range of other tweaks to the MMO that can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this article.
The changes are at the moment live on the Public Test Server for the title for those who want to see how they tweak the game and offer feedback about their impact.
Bethesda is also working on a set of pre-launch events for the Dark Brotherhood, which are designed to reveal more details about the coming experience and to get the community involved in its arrival.
The Elder Scrolls Online is at the moment free-to-play but provides solid advantages to those who are willing to pay a monthly fee for a Plus membership.
