Legendary rocker Ted Nugent is an outspoken conservative
who’s never been afraid to speak his mind regardless of whether or not
people would be offended by what he has to say. But he also has quick
wit, and it was evident in a story he shared about visiting a Muslim
bookstore in Chicago.
While it’s only a joke, Nugent’s post
has been resonating with conservatives across Facebook, garnering over
60,000 shares, hundreds of thousands of “likes,” and thousands of
comments. After reading it, you’ll realize why.
Now that’s some funny stuff, isn’t it? Most jokes are based
in some sort of truth, and it’s a pretty safe bet that if someone were
to do such a thing, it would play out pretty much as Nugent expects.
If there’s one thing that Nugent is good at, it’s ruffling
the feathers of those easily offended. If that was his aim with what he
posted, then I would say he hit the bullseye, wouldn’t you?
